The HP 33001C is a PIN absortive modulator engineered for precise RF signal control across the 8–18 GHz band. It delivers 80 dB isolation while absorbing unwanted power rather than reflecting it, preserving system impedance matching and signal integrity in demanding microwave applications. The modulator accepts RF input up to 2 watts (+33 dBm) and integrates video blocking filters to suppress switching transients, making it ideal for measurement systems, oscillator leveling, and applications where reflective components introduce frequency pulling or measurement error.
