It provides 32 two-wire crosspoints for flexible signal routing between instruments and multiple points on a device under test (DUT). The module handles switching up to 300 V and 1 A, making it suitable for a wide range of analog and low-level switching applications.

This module excels in test environments requiring concurrent connections from multiple instruments to various DUT nodes. Individual 34904A modules can be combined within a single mainframe—interconnecting rows or columns—to construct larger matrix configurations. An 8×8 matrix, 4×16 matrix, or other expanded topologies can be built this way, with a maximum capacity of 96 crosspoints per mainframe.
