The HP/Agilent 6434B is a regulated DC power supply delivering 0–40V and 0–25A across a 1000 W output envelope. Engineered for lab, bench, and rack-mount installations, this unit combines automatic crossover circuitry that transitions between constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes, protecting both supply and load. Front-panel metering displays real-time voltage and current monitoring. Protection includes reverse voltage suppression, dual front-panel circuit breakers, and automatic activation upon 115% overload exceedance.
