The HP/Agilent 66319D is a dual-output DC power supply engineered for mobile device and battery testing. The main output delivers 0–15 V at 0–3 A continuous (5 A peak for up to 7 ms), while the auxiliary output provides 0–12 V at 0–1.5 A (2.5 A peak for up to 1 ms). Total power capacity is 45 W. Built-in battery emulation with programmable output resistance (0–1 Ω) and high capacitance compensation enable accurate simulation of battery behavior across charge states. Exceptional transient response—voltage drop under 30 mV and recovery within 20 µs—minimizes test interruptions during current transients. Programming accuracy reaches ±0.05% + 10 mV on voltage and ±0.05% + 1.33 mA on main output current. DC readback accuracy via the integrated voltmeter is ±0.03% + 5 mV for voltage. Ripple and noise remain low at 1 mV rms / 6 mV peak-to-peak and 2 mA rms. Remote sensing and open sense lead detection protect against lead resistance and connection faults. The instrument interfaces via GPIB with SCPI compliance and requires firmware version A.03.00 or higher for advanced Battery Drain Analysis features.
