The Keysight 1147B is an active AC/DC current probe delivering DC to 50 MHz bandwidth for high-fidelity current measurements in switching power supplies, motor controllers, and inverters. This split-core probe measures peak currents to 15 A and continuous RMS currents to 10 A with ±1% accuracy and sub-2.5 mA RMS noise. A 7 ns rise time captures fast transients, while the Hall-effect/current-transformer hybrid topology provides flat frequency response across the full bandwidth. The probe connects directly to Keysight InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes via the AutoProbe interface, which automatically configures 1 MΩ input impedance and 0.1 V/A output sensitivity for plug-and-play operation. Built-in demagnetizing switch removes residual core magnetism; Easy Protect function guards against input overload.
