The instrument integrates arbitrary waveform generation (1 mHz to 10 kHz, seven built-in functions, 100 k-point memory), resistance measurement across nine ranges (2 Ω to 200 MΩ), and 4-wire Kelvin measurement support. A 4.3-inch color LCD with time-domain waveform viewer enables intuitive operation, while 4.5-digit built-in voltage and current monitoring eliminates external verification equipment. The B2961B operates from 0 °C to +55 °C and connects via USB, Ethernet/LXI, and GPIB. Remote control options include web browser interface, Keysight PathWave BenchVue, and PW9251A IV Curve Software. Optional ultra-low noise filtering extends noise performance to 10 µVrms.
