The Keysight 6811B AC Power Solution is a benchtop AC source and power analyzer that generates and measures AC and DC power with integrated waveform synthesis and harmonic analysis. It operates as both a programmable power amplifier and arbitrary waveform generator, delivering up to 375 VA at 300 Vrms with 3.25 A RMS output and 40 A peak current capability. The instrument generates sinusoidal, square, triangular, clipped sine, and user-definable waveforms across 45 Hz to 1 kHz, with full control over voltage slew, frequency slew, and output impedance. Built-in measurement capabilities eliminate the need for separate test equipment: voltage and current analysis (RMS, DC, AC+DC), real/apparent/reactive power, harmonic content to the 50th harmonic, THD, and peak detection. Measurement accuracy includes RMS voltage at 0.03% + 100 mV (35–100 Hz) and RMS current at 0.05% + 10 mA (45–100 Hz). The 6811B also provides triggered digitized acquisition of voltage and current waveforms. DC output reaches ±425 V at 2.5 A (285 W). Line regulation is 0.1% of full scale; load regulation 0.5%. Output noise measures −60 dB relative to full scale (20 kHz to 10 MHz). The instrument accepts 100–240 VAC universal input and connects via GPIB (HP-IB) or RS-232 with SCPI command support.
