The Keysight E8403A is a C-size, 13-slot VXI mainframe purpose-built for high-power test and measurement systems. It supplies 1000 W of usable power across seven regulated voltage rails, meeting VXIbus Specification Revision 1.4 and VMEbus System Specification Revision C.1. The mainframe integrates an efficient cooling architecture with variable-speed fan operation and independent power supply cooling paths to maintain thermal stability in demanding environments. Automatic daisy-chain jumpering on the backplane eliminates manual VMEbus grant and interrupt acknowledge line configuration. The QUIC module insertion system enables rapid swapping of VXI cards without tools.
