The TDK Lambda EMI TCR40S25 is a SCR phase-controlled DC power supply delivering 0–40 V and 0–25 A (1000 W) for industrial, commercial, and laboratory applications. It combines constant voltage/constant current regulation with advanced EMI filtering and soft-start circuitry to minimize inrush current and conducted RFI. Output ripple is 75 mV with load regulation better than 0.1% across 5–100% of rated current. The unit accepts 115 VAC (105–130 V) at 47–63 Hz as standard input, with optional 100 V, 200 V, and 208/220 VAC configurations available. Internal RFI filtering employing ferrite toroidal chokes and VDE-listed capacitors reduces line-conducted RFI by a factor of 1000 compared to earlier SCR designs, meeting VDE 875 Level N and VDE 871 Level A standards. Remote sensing and dual control modes (local or remote via resistance, voltage, or current) enable flexible system integration. Soft-start prevents magnetic inrush on power-on or recovery from interruption.
