The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 6822 is a scalar network analyzer for precision measurement of amplitude parameters across RF and microwave circuits. Operating from 10.00 MHz to 8.40 GHz, it delivers simultaneous insertion and return loss measurements with real-time transmission line fault location accurate to 0.1%. The instrument combines a synthesized signal source with low phase noise and 1 Hz frequency resolution, EEPROM-corrected scalar detectors, and internal filtering achieving harmonic performance of <-50 dBc or <-55 dBc.
