• 4 independent channels
• 12-bit resolution (1 part in 4096 plus sign)
• Programmable ranges: ±1 V, ±5 V, or ±10 V
• Output current: ±10 mA maximum
• Channel isolation: up to 500 V from IEEE 488 common and between channels

Waveform Generation
• 8192-sample buffer per channel
• Maximum update rate: 1 kHz per sample
• Trigger modes: external trigger, command trigger, or IEEE 488 Group Execute Trigger (GET)
• Trigger delay support for stimulus/response testing
• Independent triggering per port

Digital I/O
• 8-bit digital input port (TTL-level)
• 8-bit digital output port (TTL-level)

Interface & Control
• Primary interface: IEEE 488 (GPIB)
• IEEE 488 support: SH1, AH1, T6, TE6, L4, LE4, SR1, PP0, RL0, DC1, DT2, C0, E2

Power
• Input: 90–125 VAC or 210–250 VAC, 50/60 Hz
• Consumption: 20 VA maximum

– Key Features

• Isolated analog outputs minimize crosstalk in multi-channel stimulus applications
• Per-channel waveform sequencing based on periodic or trigger conditions
• Quick-disconnect terminal block for signal connectivity
• Simultaneous multi-channel operation with independent control

– Typical Applications

• Multi-channel transducer simulation and control
• Automated stimulus generation in compliance and functional testing
• Waveform I/O systems paired with ADC488A digitizer modules
• Real-time signal synthesis in feedback control loops

– Compatibility & Integration

The DAC488/4 integrates with any IEEE 488 controller and combines with Measurement Computing/IOtech ADC488A series digitizers to form complete waveform I/O systems.
