The Measurement Computing / IOtech WaveBook/516 is a 16-bit portable data acquisition system built for high-resolution signal capture in demanding field and laboratory environments. Its DSP-based architecture delivers real-time digital calibration and supports sampling rates up to 1 MHz with 1 µs/channel scanning across any channel combination. The system ships with 8 built-in analog input channels and 16 high-speed digital I/O channels, expandable internally to 72 channels or up to 288 channels by synchronizing multiple units. Additional thermocouple channels—up to 854—can be added without consuming measurement bandwidth, making it ideal for complex multi-sensor deployments.
