– Typical Applications
The PGSTAT12 supports a wide range of electrochemical methods. Frequency response analysis from 10 µHz to 1 MHz enables electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Coulometric and chrono-coulometric experiments become possible through the optional FI20 filter and integrator module. Multi-cell screening is supported via multiplexing modules accommodating up to 64 cells or 255 working electrodes. pH and ion-selective electrode measurements are enabled through the pX module, and electrochemical noise characterization is available with the ECN module.
– Compatibility & Integration
The PGSTAT12 integrates with Metrohm Autolab control software including GPES and NOVA platforms. The Autolab Software Development Kit (SDK) enables external application control. Optional modules include the FRA2 frequency response analyzer, ADC164/DAC164 fast sampling modules, ECD low-current amplifier, FI20 filter/integrator, MUX multiplexing systems, pX pH module, and ECN electrochemical noise module. Standard connectivity uses male DB-37 cabling with USB interface capability and differential electrometer amplifier support.
