The National Instruments PXI-2564 is a high-density PXI relay module featuring 16 independent SPST non-latching electromechanical armature relays. It delivers low on-resistance switching with gold-plated silver cadmium oxide contacts and mechanical relay life of 2 × 10⁷ cycles. The module handles up to 5 A per channel with maximum switching voltages of 150 V DC/AC (channel-to-channel) and 150 V DC/AC CAT II (channel-to-ground). Peak switching power reaches 750 VA AC or 150 W DC at 30 V. All 16 channels can simultaneously carry maximum current at ≤55 °C. The PXI-2564 operates at 10 MHz switch bandwidth with a 45 cycles/second scan rate and integrates with National Instruments’ LabVIEW and NI-SWITCH software environments via 37-pin D-SUB connector on a single PXI/cPCI slot.
