The Newport 3150 is a high-power temperature controller delivering 350 W maximum output for precision thermal management in laser diode, thermoelectric cooler, and temperature-sensitive applications. It combines ultra-stable bipolar output with multiple control modes, multi-sensor compatibility, and integrated data acquisition to enable demanding laboratory and industrial temperature regulation.

Temperature Control

The controller accepts thermistors (10.0 kΩ, ±0.2°C), platinum RTDs, AD590/592 ICs, and LM335 ICs. Full thermoelectric cooler characterization capability measures ITE and VTE versus temperature.

Protection & Safety
Automatic failsafe shutdown, ITE current limiting, dual temperature thresholds (high/low), sensor open detection, and TE open detection safeguard against fault conditions.
