The Newport 841-P-USB is a USB-powered optical power meter for precise laser power measurement at 980 nm. It connects to a computer via USB, transforming the PC into a virtual power meter control station with full remote operation and data acquisition capability. The meter automatically recognizes Newport detector heads, extracting calibration data and technical parameters from the detector’s onboard EEPROM for plug-and-play operation.
