It actively compensates for vertical disturbances from isolator modules, delivering transmissibility better than –15 dB at 1 Hz and –30 dB at 10 Hz and above 40 Hz. The controller combines active vertical isolation with passive horizontal isolation (natural frequency 1.0 Hz, rolling off at –40 dB per decade above 1.6 Hz) to protect sensitive instruments including optical tables, microscopes, and precision balances.
