The Keysight 5087A is a modular distribution amplifier that delivers multiple stable, low-distortion signal outputs from high-performance frequency standards. It accepts inputs at 10 MHz, 5 MHz, 1 MHz, or 100 kHz—in any combination across up to three input channels—and distributes them to as many as 12 individually configurable outputs. Each output level adjusts independently from 0 Vrms to 3 Vrms into 50 ohms, making the unit ideal for metrology, calibration, and precision timekeeping systems where signal integrity and channel isolation are critical.

– Compatibility & Integration
The 5087A accepts signals from atomic frequency standards, crystal oscillators, and other precision frequency sources. Optional preamplifiers extend input sensitivity; output amplifiers are available as modular upgrades. Standard configurations (Option 031–034) are pre-configured for common frequency combinations.
