The Newport PTS-FOSW 1×8 Fiber Optic Switch Module routes a single input optical signal to one of eight selectable output fibers. This optically passive, bi-directional device is transparent to bit rates and data formats, making it ideal for automated fiber optic testing, sensor systems, and optical network configurations. The module supports multi-port component testing using a single light source and optical meter, selective component bypassing, and PC-controlled automation for long-term burn-in and environmental test sequences.
