The NI 9477 is a 32-channel sinking digital output C Series module for CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems. It provides industrial-grade logic control with direct connectivity to relays, solenoids, and motors. The sinking output configuration drives the DO pin to COM when activated, allowing current sink from the connected device. Operating across 5 V to 60 V DC with 1,000 Vrms channel-to-earth ground isolation, the module delivers 1 A per channel (20 A module maximum) with 8 μs maximum update rate and 1 μs propagation delay. Channels support parallel operation for higher-current applications up to the 20 A limit. The 37-pin D-SUB connector enables direct integration with industrial control systems across the -40 °C to 70 °C operating range.
