The NI PCI-5411 is a high-speed arbitrary waveform generator that creates custom waveforms for test, measurement, communications, and scientific research applications. It delivers 12-bit resolution at 40 MHz update rates using Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) with a 32-bit accumulator. The device outputs ±5 V into 50 Ω loads or ±10 V into high-impedance loads through a single DC-coupled analog channel with selectable 50 Ω or 75 Ω output impedance. It generates sine, square, ramp, triangle, TTL, and arbitrary waveforms with linked and looped sequences.
