The NI PCI-6541 is a 50 MHz digital waveform generator and analyzer delivering 32 single-ended digital I/O channels with independent per-channel direction control. Built on Synchronization and Memory Core (SMC) technology, it provides configurable onboard memory up to 64 Mbit per channel and supports advanced triggering, pattern sequencing, and complex waveform scripting. The device generates single or repeating waveforms with built-in PRBS and count patterns, while 4 PFI channels enable external synchronization and event signaling. Software-selectable logic levels (1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, 5.0 V TTL) ensure compatibility across digital interfaces. With an internal VCXO clock and external clock input range of 20 kHz to 50 MHz, the PCI-6541 addresses digital communication, semiconductor testing, and custom interface development at high speed.
