The NI PXI-4472 is an 8-channel, 24-bit dynamic signal acquisition module engineered for high-fidelity sound and vibration measurement. It delivers simultaneous sampling at up to 102.4 kS/s per channel with 110 dB dynamic range and a low noise floor, making it suitable for precision acoustic and mechanical signal analysis. Integrated IEPE signal conditioning accepts accelerometers and microphones directly, while dynamically adapting antialiasing filters prevent aliasing across the full 45 kHz alias-free bandwidth.

The PXI-4472 interfaces via NI-DAQmx software and integrates into standard PXI chassis. Star trigger synchronization requires a standard PXI chassis; PXIe chassis with standard PXI slots cannot provide star trigger lines to PXI-447x modules. Not PXIe-ready in hybrid slots.
