The NI PXI-6521 Industrial Digital I/O Device is a PXI module that interfaces with industrial sensors and actuators using isolated 24V logic levels. It delivers 8 differential digital inputs rated to ±30 VDC and 8 relay outputs (3 Form C, 5 Form A) capable of switching up to 150 V AC/DC at 2 A maximum. Channel-to-channel isolation provides 620 Vrms dielectric withstand and extends signal range while protecting computer circuitry. The module supports both sinking and sourcing devices with programmable configuration—no jumpers or DIP switches required.
