The Keysight M9188A is a single-slot PXI dynamic digital-to-analog converter delivering 16 simultaneous output channels for high-voltage and current stimulus waveform generation. Each channel outputs 0 V to +30 V or 0 mA to +20 mA with 16-bit resolution at 500 kSa/s update rate. The module includes 1 MSa per channel of onboard memory, enabling arbitrary waveform simulation with sampling periods from 2 µs to 512 µs. Output amplifiers integrate short-circuit and over-temperature protection, while individual disconnect switches provide channel isolation. Four isolated banks organize the 16 channels into groups of four, achieving adjacent channel crosstalk better than 85 dB at 50 kHz. The module supports PXI 10 MHz, PXI Trigger, PXI star trigger, and external trigger inputs. Full software support includes IVI-COM, IVI-C, and LabVIEW G drivers compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Microsoft C/C++, C#, and VB.NET development environments.
