The NI PXIe-7962R is a user-programmable FPGA module for the FlexRIO platform, delivering high-performance real-time signal processing and hardware acceleration within a PXI Express form factor. Built around a Xilinx Virtex-5 SX50T FPGA with 8,160 slices, 288 DSP48 blocks, and 4,752 kbit of embedded block RAM, it executes custom algorithms, control logic, and data acquisition tasks at line rate. The module provides 132 configurable digital I/O lines—available as 66 differential pairs—operating up to 400 Mbit/s single-ended and 1 Gbit/s differential, with aggregate I/O bandwidth reaching 66 Gbit/s (8.25 GB/s).
