The NI VXIcpu-030 is an embedded VXIbus computer that functions as a Slot 0 System Controller for industrial and automated test systems. Built around a 25 MHz 68030 microprocessor with Motorola MVME147S architecture, it delivers essential VXIbus management including system clock and reset generation, plus daisy-chain drivers for bus grant and interrupt acknowledge signals. The unit supports VXIbus Specification 3.0 with backward compatibility to VXIbus 2.0, enabling 2eVME transfers at theoretical bandwidths up to 160 Mbytes/s, A64 memory space allocation, and Resource Manager support. Configurable Bus Arbiter and Bus Timer modes adapt to system requirements.
