The NoiseCom PNG7112 is a programmable noise generator for RF and microwave applications, delivering calibrated additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) with precise control over output power. It combines internal noise generation with user-supplied signals via a low-distortion summing path, enabling accurate signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR), and bit error rate (BER) testing across communication, radar, and electronic warfare systems. The instrument’s 18 dB minimum crest factor supports reliable BER characterization even at high signal-to-noise ratios.
