The ACC-53E is a Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) Encoder Interface Board for Omron and Delta Tau motion control systems. It decodes SSI encoder data from Gray Code style encoders and converts synchronous serial signals into 12 or 24-bit parallel binary words for high-precision position and velocity feedback. The board integrates with UMAC and Ultralite/MACRO Station controllers via the high-speed JEXP expansion bus and mounts in an industrial 3U rack system.
