The Pacific Power 3550AZX-8 is a regenerative 4-quadrant AC/DC power source and load that functions simultaneously as an AC voltage source, DC power supply, current source, and Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (PHIL) interface. Rated at 55 kVA / 55 kW, this instrument delivers precise waveform control across multiple output configurations—single, split, and three-phase modes—with dual independent channels or full three-phase capability. The unit recovers over 90% of energy to the utility grid during regenerative operation, minimizing facility power consumption during testing cycles.
