The Payne Engineering 18TBP-1-10 is a solid-state power control unit that delivers infinitely variable single-phase AC voltage regulation without moving parts. It replaces variable transformers, mercury relays, saturable core reactors, and electromechanical contactors in resistive heating applications. Built on all solid-state architecture with an integral heatsink chassis, this unit provides stable, precise power management from 0–118 VAC output with exceptional efficiency and minimal thermal footprint.
