The Perle S-110-S2ST20 is a 10/100 Fast Ethernet media converter that transparently bridges copper and single-mode fiber networks. It converts 10/100Base-TX signals from RJ-45 connectors to 100Base-LX single-mode fiber, extending network reach to 20 km (12.4 miles) at 1310 nm wavelength. Built in rugged steel casing rated for industrial temperature ranges, this stand-alone unit delivers up to 100 Mbps with a 17 dB link budget.
