The RadiSys EPC-22 is a PC/AT-compatible CPU module built on the Intel386 SL chipset for embedded industrial and communication applications. Operating at 25 MHz with an integrated 80387SX math coprocessor, the module delivers compact processing power in a 3″ × 5.9″ form factor. It features 64 Kbytes of SRAM cache, supports up to 20 MBytes of DRAM memory, and includes an integrated watchdog timer for system reliability. The design meets UL-1950 safety standards and low EMI requirements, with front-panel filter networks providing enhanced ESD protection on all accessible ports.

– Compatibility & Integration
The EPC-22 interfaces with EXM carrier systems via an electrically similar 16-bit PC/AT ISA expansion bus. Note that this bus does not support ISA busmasters. Floppy disk support may be limited to 1.44 MB drives when using the EMC-FDM module due to 500 Kbit/s transfer rate constraints.
