The Sensoray 118 is a 16-bit, 8-channel smart analog-to-digital VME module engineered for high-resolution data acquisition in VME bus systems. Each of eight differential input channels is individually programmable to condition and digitize signals from thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, voltage sources, 4-20 mA current loops, thermistors, and resistance measurements. An on-board microcontroller continuously scans all channels, performing amplification, digitization, filtering, linearization, and conversion to engineering units before storing results in onboard memory for immediate host access.
