The Sorensen M9C is an internal interface option for the Sorensen DCS Series programmable DC power supplies, enabling remote control and monitoring through IEEE-488.2 GPIB or RS-232 connectivity. It provides SCPI and IEEE-488.2 command support for automated testing and system integration, with 12-bit programming and readback resolution. The M9C delivers voltage and current programming accuracy of ± (0.1% + 0.1% of maximum output voltage) and ± (0.1% + 0.4% of maximum output current) respectively, with matching readback accuracy specifications. Programmable overvoltage protection includes reset capability and ± (0.5% + 0.5% of max output voltage) accuracy. User-programmable signals support Local/Remote Sense, External Polarity, and Disconnect Relay Drive functions. Selectable constant-voltage/constant-current and foldback operating modes provide flexible output control with reset functionality. Firmware upgrades are field-deployable via RS-232. For multi-unit applications, the M9C integrates with the M85 option and Extended Interface Bus (RS-485) to control up to 30 auxiliary power supplies. Input voltage selection accommodates 100-132 Vac or 200-250 Vac, 47-63 Hz single-phase operation.
