The Tektronix/CDS 73A-851 VME/VXI to VXI Adapter Module bridges VME and VXI bus architectures, enabling integration of VME modules within VXI mainframes. This C-size VXIbus instrument module buffers and routes VME address, data, and control signals while preserving VMEbus environment, timing, and backplane integrity. A single adapter slot accommodates A or B size VME modules or A or B size VXIbus modules in any C- or D-size VXIbus mainframe slot except Slot 0.
