The Tektronix TDS5034B is a four-channel Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope delivering 350 MHz analog bandwidth for signal acquisition and analysis. Its DPX® acquisition technology sustains waveform capture rates exceeding 100,000 waveforms per second, enabling real-time intensity grading that reveals signal behavior across amplitude, time, and distribution. The instrument captures up to 8 Mpts on a single channel (expandable to 16 Mpts with optional memory) and samples at rates to 5 GS/s depending on active channels. Peak Detect mode isolates narrow glitches down to 1 ns at all real-time sample rates, while FastAcq optimizes dynamic signal analysis and infrequent event detection. Multiple acquisition modes—including Averaging (2–10,000 waveforms), Envelope, Hi-Res boxcar averaging, and FastFrame segmentation—deliver flexibility for noise reduction and transient isolation. Advanced triggering supports video standards (NTSC, PAL, SECAM, analog HDTV) alongside a full suite of general-purpose triggers. Time base spans 200 ps to 1000 s/div; vertical sensitivity ranges from 1 mV to 10 V/div at 1 MΩ impedance. The OpenChoice® Platform enables integration with external analysis tools and enhanced productivity workflows. Windows 2000 operating system.
