The TEKTRONIX WM782A is an external harmonic mixer for downconversion of millimeter-wave signals in the 26.5 GHz to 40 GHz band. It extends spectrum analyzer measurement capabilities beyond internal mixer limits by accepting high-frequency RF inputs via WR-28 waveguide and delivering downconverted IF signals suitable for analysis and power measurement. The WM782A employs an anti-parallel dual-diode architecture with zero DC bias and typical 20 dB conversion loss.
