The Tektronix VX4320 is a high-performance RF switching module designed for integration into VXIbus systems. This single-wide, C-size VXI module provides eight independent 1×4 coaxial switches for automated RF signal routing and multiplexing up to 1.3 GHz. Each switching section features five Type SMB male snap-on subminiature coaxial connectors with 50 ohm characteristic impedance, enabling flexible signal path configuration across complex test environments.
The module operates as a local bus relay slave in standalone configuration, or with the optional Option 01 VXI Interface daughter board, it provides direct programmability via SCPI-compatible commands over VXI word serial protocol. The Option 01 daughter board also enables management of multiple relay modules within a single VXI chassis. The VX4320 communicates across the VXIbus backplane and supports VMEbus interrupt generation with selectable interrupt levels 1–7 (levels 0 or 8 disable interrupts).
