The Wandel & Goltermann OSA-155 is a DWDM System Analyzer built for field characterization of optical components and systems in telecommunications networks. It simultaneously measures wavelength, power, and optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) across multiple carriers in the 1450–1650 nm band. The instrument combines portable design with battery operation, delivering full measurement capability during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting without dependence on external power.

– Key Features

GRAPH Mode renders the optical spectrum graphically with trace measurement and report preparation tools. WDM Mode automatically identifies and measures individual channels, tabulating wavelength, frequency, and power with statistical analysis. Filter Mode (version BN 2260/04) locks the monochromator to a fixed wavelength for single-channel isolation. Internal reference source enables automatic wavelength calibration.
