The Keysight M9182A is a 6½ digit PXI digital multimeter built for high-performance automated test systems. It delivers ten measurement types including DC and AC voltage, current, resistance (2-wire and 4-wire), frequency, period, capacitance, and temperature. With measurement speeds up to 4,500 readings per second and single-reading intervals of 222 µs, the module supports fast data acquisition in ATE environments. Basic 1-year DCV accuracy reaches 40 ppm. Advanced triggering—including analog threshold triggers with pre- and post-levels, external trigger inputs, and DMM outputs—enables synchronization with multiplexers and external instruments. The module accepts floating isolation (CAT II) up to 300 V and can measure voltages to 330 VAC in isolated circuits (CAT I). It installs in PXI, CompactPCI, or Hybrid chassis using cPCI (J1), PXI-1 (J1), or PXIe Hybrid slots.
