The Agilent/Keysight N2841A is a 12 GHz differential probe head in the InfiniiMax III+ Series, engineered for high-speed signal integrity measurements across digital and RF applications. This probe head minimizes loading effects while delivering the measurement fidelity required for complex probing of modern high-speed interfaces. The compact design supports both 10:1 and 5:1 attenuation settings, with input impedance options of 1 MΩ || 0.5 pF (10:1) or 200 kΩ || 1 pF (5:1). Differential input capability spans ±2.5 V DC coupled, while common mode voltage handling extends to ±5 V (DC to 1 GHz) and ±2 V (DC to 12 GHz). Noise performance is 60 dB at 1 MHz, > 40 dB at 1 GHz, and > 30 dB at 10 GHz. Probe tip electrical characteristics include capacitance < 0.5 pF (10:1) and inductance 60 dB @ 1 MHz, > 40 dB @ 1 GHz, > 30 dB @ 10 GHz
• Noise: < 1.2 mVrms typical (10:1 setting)
• Tip Capacitance: < 0.5 pF (10:1 setting)
• Tip Inductance: < 1 nH
