The Keysight RP7951A is a 5 kW bidirectional regenerative DC power system engineered for demanding test environments in research, development, and manufacturing. Operating in two-quadrant mode, it functions simultaneously as a precision power source and electronic load, enabling direct transitions between sourcing and sinking current without transient disruption. The autoranging output characteristic expands the voltage and current operating space beyond traditional rectangular-output supplies. Sub-millisecond command processing and fast output response support dynamic testing of energy storage systems, power converters, and semiconductor devices across hybrid-electric and electric vehicle platforms.
