The Amplifier Research 150W1000 is a solid-state, air-cooled broadband RF power amplifier engineered for high gain, linearity, and stability across demanding test environments. Operating instantaneously from 80 MHz to 1000 MHz, it delivers 150 watts minimum output power with exceptional mismatch tolerance—operating without damage or oscillation into any combination of source and load impedances. This capability makes it ideal for EMC compliance testing where loads may include open and short circuits. The amplifier accepts AM, FM, and pulse modulation, with internal/external automatic level control (ALC) for precision output regulation. A Digital Control Panel (DCP) provides both local and remote operation with comprehensive status reporting and 18 dB minimum continuous gain adjustment across 4096 remote steps.
