The Anritsu MS2723C Spectrum Master is a handheld spectrum analyzer engineered for field deployment across 9 kHz to 13 GHz. It delivers dynamic range exceeding 104 dB at 1 Hz resolution bandwidth with displayed average noise level of -160 dBm (preamp on, 1 Hz RBW) and phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset at 1 GHz. Frequency accuracy reaches ±25 ppb with GPS enabled.
The instrument supports resolution bandwidths from 1 Hz to 10 MHz, including specialized 200 Hz, 9 kHz, and 120 kHz bands for EMC testing with quasi-peak detection. Five detector types—peak, negative, sample, quasi-peak, and true RMS—enable flexible signal characterization. Sweep speeds are up to 100 times faster than previous generations across three configurable modes. Warm-up time is less than 5 minutes.
