Equipment info

The Joerger Enterprises VTR10014 is a 6U VME analog digitizer module delivering real-time signal acquisition with oscilloscope-grade input characteristics. Available in 1, 2, 4, or 8 channel configurations, each channel digitizes at 100 MHz with 14-bit resolution and 512K words of dedicated SRAM. Signal averaging from 2 to 128 samples improves SNR for precision measurement. The module accepts single-ended or differential inputs at 10 MΩ impedance with adjustable full-scale offset control and multiple trigger modes—post-trigger, multiple post-trigger, pre/post-trigger, and multiple pre/post-trigger—sourced from front panel input, VME command, or selected channels. Trigger events capture both address and real-time arrival data with programmable active-mode delay and selectable event register thresholds.

## Technical Specifications

• **Form Factor:** 6U VME, single-width module
• **Channels:** Configurable 1, 2, 4, or 8 analog digitizers
• **Sample Rate:** 100 MHz per channel
• **Resolution:** 14 bits
• **Memory:** 512K words SRAM per channel; up to 4M words total
• **Signal Averaging:** 2 to 128 samples (selectable)
• **Input Impedance:** 10 MΩ
• **Input Coupling:** Single-ended or differential
• **Full-Scale Offset:** ±1.1 V standard; adjustable to 0 to +2.2 V or –2.2 V to 0 V

## Key Features

• Multiple acquisition modes capture single-shot and repetitive events
• Independent power and ground filtering per channel minimizes crosstalk
• Sparse scan mode accelerates readout speed
• 64-bit MBLT64 block transfer delivers four data words per read cycle
• A32 extended addressing supports VMEbus data transfers
• Trigger timing programmable with real-time logging

## Typical Applications

• High-speed transient capture and waveform digitization
• Multi-channel signal analysis and event correlation
• Precision instrumentation requiring low-noise measurement

## Compatibility & Integration

LabVIEW and EPICS software packages provided at no cost. VME A32 addressing enables integration into existing crate-based systems. Block transfer mode and dual-channel simultaneous readout optimize throughput in demanding acquisition environments.
