The Keysight B2985A Electrometer/High Resistance Meter delivers femtoampere-level current measurement and petaohm resistance characterization for ultra-sensitive electrical testing. With 0.01 fA (10⁻¹⁷ A) resolution and a maximum measurable resistance of 10 PΩ, this instrument addresses demanding applications in materials science, device physics, and precision quality control. The integrated ±1000 V DC source enables resistance measurement up to 10 PΩ without external excitation.
A 4.3″ color LCD display provides real-time graphical analysis—meter view, X-Y plots (I-V, I-t, R-t, Q-t, I-R), histograms, trend charts, and time-domain transient capture—eliminating reliance on external PC control for routine measurements. The instrument acquires up to 20,000 readings/s and buffers 100 k measurement points on-board.
