Equipment info

The Newport 835 Optical Power Meter delivers precise optical power measurements across laboratory and field environments. Its dual-display architecture combines a 4.5-digit digital readout with a 50-segment analog backlit LCD, providing flexibility for diverse measurement workflows. The instrument autoranges from 2 nW to 2 mW full scale with approximately 250 ms settling time per range, while linear and logarithmic display modes accommodate different analysis requirements. Digital wavelength response compensation and reference mode functionality enable ratio-based power monitoring relative to stored baselines.
