The Newport / New Focus 0901 is a ±15 VDC triple-output laboratory power supply engineered for sensitive electronic and optoelectronic devices. Each of the three independent outputs features current limiting to prevent overcurrent damage to connected equipment. Two outputs terminate in shielded Pico (m8) microconnectors; the third uses standard banana jacks. This dual-connector approach provides flexibility across diverse laboratory and OEM applications, with particular compatibility to New Focus photodetectors, photoreceivers, and amplifiers.
Technical Specifications

• Shielded Pico microconnectors reduce susceptibility to external electromagnetic coupling
• Selectable AC input voltage via rear-panel power module
• Compact enclosure with front-panel power switch and rear-panel AC module with voltage indicator
• Requires grounded 3-prong power cord connection
– Typical Applications
• Powering New Focus optical sensors, receivers, and signal-conditioning amplifiers
• General-purpose laboratory ±15 V distribution for mixed analog and digital circuits
• OEM integration in optical instrumentation and test setups
– Compatibility & Integration
Newport supplies compatible cabling: Pico-to-Pico double-ended cables in multiple lengths and Pico-to-banana adapter cables. Model 0924 banana cables follow standard color coding: red (+15 V), green (ground), black (−15 V).
