The Newport UniDrive6000 is a modular, rack-mountable multi-axis motor driver engineered for precision motion control in research, industrial automation, and semiconductor positioning. It interfaces directly with the Newport ESP6000 motion controller and supports up to six axes of mixed DC servo and stepper motor operation. Individual driver cards slot into the chassis without tools, enabling on-site reconfiguration and scalable expansion.

– Typical Applications
Precision positioning in research instrumentation, multi-axis automation systems, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment requiring coordinated servo and stepper actuation.
– Compatibility & Integration
The UniDrive6000 integrates with the ESP6000 motion controller via dedicated driver interface cable. It operates with most Newport ESP-compatible motion stages. Pre-March 1999 CMA actuators and RV120–350PEHL stages require alternative driver solutions (MM4005).
